This poster project, created as an exercise, highlights two of my favorite characters from the 1931 film "Frankenstein," directed by James Whale. Based on Mary Shelley's classic novel, this film presents a haunting tale of ambition, creation, and the dire consequences of defying nature. The narrative explores the complex relationship between creator and creation, delving into themes of isolation, responsibility, and the human condition.
Through this project, I aim to pay homage to both the film and Shelley's original story, capturing the essence of their enduring impact on literature and cinema. The poster features striking black-and-white illustrations that reflect the film's atmospheric style.
