Whitney is a Milan-based visual artist, illustrator, and curator whose practice exists at the intersection, and often within the dialogue, between illustration, curatorial research, and visual art. Driven by a passion for visual storytelling, they find constant inspiration in stories of the past and the hidden narratives held within archives.
Their studio practice uses poetry, drawing, analogue printmaking, photography, video, and on-site research to explore how the relationship between our inner and outer worlds influences the subconscious, particularly in how we relate to other humans, space, beauty, and love.
Deeply invested in community engagement, Whitney uses techniques such as gesture drawing, observational drawing, and oral storytelling to build meaningful connections. By visually registering shared experiences, they stimulate dialogue, foster the exchange of ideas, and create collaborative spaces where communities feel truly seen, heard, and justly represented.
